Alternative pandemic planning

Many of the existing pandemic plans are based on classic assumptions, such as personnel, buildings, IT and service provider failures or the protection of their own employees.

However, none of these scenarios clearly fits the current pandemic situation, even though all relevant factors are addressed. Only a few companies have suffered critical staff shortages due to the pandemic so far. And yet the employees are the focus of prevention and emergency management. Buildings and office space are still available, but can only be used to a limited extent due to distance measures. And even if the move to the alternative home office has worked out very well in some cases, what about the protection of sensitive company data there?

Using concrete examples, we would like to discuss with the participants how cross-functional task forces can better deal with such situations through broader planning content.
